Plasterboard is sensitive to impact, moisture and poor support. International orders should be planned around the complete journey from factory storage to destination warehouse.
Checklist before loading
| Area | Confirm |
|---|---|
| Product identity | Board type, size, thickness and edge match the order. |
| Protection | Corner protection, wrapping, pallet support and moisture barrier. |
| Container plan | Weight, pallet footprint, loading sequence and lashing method. |
| Documents | Commercial invoice, packing list and requested technical documents. |
Make receiving inspection easy
Mark each pallet with product code, dimensions, quantity and batch reference. Photograph the loaded container and retain the packing list so shortages or damage can be traced quickly.
Do not optimize only for quantity
More sheets per container can increase damage risk if the pallet support, compression or unloading method is unsuitable. Compare delivered condition and handling cost, not only nominal container count.
A clear loading drawing should be approved before production for mixed-size or mixed-type plasterboard orders.
